If you’re going through a difficult time, or feel like you wish to understand yourself better, or you're curious about using art to explore your emotions, we’ve got you covered.
We offer in-person sessions in Singapore, and online sessions as well.
Working together
Here’s what to expect in our sessions: In our first session, we will chat about the concerns that you have and what specifically you’d like support with. We might set goals. In the subsequent sessions, you can expect a mix of talk therapy and other expressive arts modalities in our explorations.
Talk. Make Art. Or not.
The modalities include visual arts, movement, and psychodrama primarily, along with tools like collage, picture books, and clay for self-expression. You can rest assured that we will always check-in with you on what feels okay for you in each session. If you feel like just talking (or not!) on a given day, that is totally fine too.
As a certified Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner and Counsellor, I’m here to support your journey with expertise and empathy. My path to being a mental health practitioner was a scenic one — via a decade-long corporate IT career and art. Now, I'm committed to helping people discover their strengths and their innate capacity to heal and thrive.
Ever heard music that moved you to tears but you couldn't quite say why? Art gives expression to parts of us that otherwise go unexpressed. What's inaccessible through thinking can be accessed through our bodies and art.
Our bodies hold the entirety of our life’s experiences. In our sessions, we trust in the wisdom of our bodies, and pay attention to cues like breath, sensations, posture, and movement. We are always listening to and working with the body.
In the past, we’ve worked with adult clients dealing with anxiety, depression, recovering from trauma, childhood abuse, anger, workplace stress, identity and relationship issues.
Our approach is person-centered and trauma-sensitive. As a cishet person, I do not have the lived experience of an LGBTQ+ individual, but I can promise an inclusive, safe space, and will show up informed, curious and open.
We use a blend of modalities such as visual arts, somatic cues, movement, and psychodrama, along with tools like collage, picture books, sand tray and clay work for self-expression.
