Counselling and art therapy in Singapore & online, without labels, shame or judgment.

Whether you’re adjusting to a big life change, like a career transition, motherhood or life in a new city, or you’re tired of holding it all together all the time, we have you covered.

Is this you?

  • Anxiety about changes

You're in the midst of some life changes — a new city, career or becoming a parent, and it feels harder than you thought it would be.

  • Trying to do it all

You look fine from the outside: managing, functioning, keeping it together. But your body is saying something else.

  • A loud inner critic

You're hard on yourself and your inner critic is loud, and you wish you could just shut it off!

  • Imposter syndrome

Your 5-year-old self would be proud of who you are today. And yet, you feel like a fraud inside.

  • People-pleasing

You’re saying yes to things because you don’t want to let people down. And quietly stewing in resentment after.

  • Identity

You’re ready to let go of some patterns that you know aren’t helpful, and wondering who you might be underneath.

Hi! I’m Shub.

Counsellor, Arts Therapy Practitioner.

I believe your symptoms aren't just things to be healed — they hold deep wisdom about your life. I'm curious about your experience beyond the labels.

My Approach

In the therapeutic space, I wish to meet you where you are, and witness you in all your beautiful, messy human-ness. My approach is person-centred and trauma-sensitive, and I trust your lived experience more than any labels.

I incorporate evidence-based creative modalities like expressive arts therapy and somatic awareness where appropriate, but the focus is always on what you’re open to, and what serves you best in your current context of your journey.

Arts for self-expression

Ever heard music that moved you to tears but you couldn't quite say why? Art & movement can give expression to parts that can be hard to reach through words.

Compassion at the core

As a largely neurotypical, cis-het person, I may not share your lived experience. What I can promise is a safe, inclusive space, and that I will always show up informed, curious and without assumption.

The body is central

Our bodies hold the entirety of our life’s experiences. In our approach, we trust in the wisdom of our bodies, listening and paying attention to cues like breath and sensations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about my approach, fees and whether you need to be good at art to benefit from art therapy (hint: no!).

  • Click here to pick a slot for a complimentary intro call. In this 15-minute session, we’ll have a chance to get to know each other a bit. I’ll listen to what you need support with, and you will learn more about me and what my sessions are like. This isn’t a therapy session—just a casual conversation to answer your questions about working together, and also to see if we fit.

  • Absolutely not. It doesn’t matter whether you last made art in school, or recently. As long as you’re open to trying it, arts therapy is for you. In fact, it might even surprise you. You don’t need special art supplies either.

  • Therapeutic art making like colouring can be very calming and stress-relieving. But it is not the same as art therapy which is delivered by a professionally trained mental health practitioner, to address specific mental health concerns or needs, mutually decided by the therapist and the client.. • Yes, we can just talk as well. If and whenever you feel ready, we can try and deepen the exploration through art. No pressure, we will take it at your own pace.

  • Not a problem – let curiosity be your guide. Trust that there’s something within you that is looking for some gentle support, and we can see what comes up.

  • My fees for 2026 are $160 per 75 minute session. I also occasionally have a few sliding scale slots for those who need support, but are unable to afford it. If that’s you,

Hear from my 1:1 Clients

“My experience with Shub changed everything I believed about counselling and art.”

I’m a 30 year old man who hadn’t drawn anything in my adult life, and I’d gladly say this was a wonderful experience which helped me so much with my issues.

Sometimes we surprise ourselves with how we articulate our thoughts though a medium other than words….6 months on I still keep my own drawings as a reminder that sometimes words fail me, but the experience won’t.

“Shub has played a pivotal role in helping me cultivate self-compassion.”

I've been working with Shub, seeking therapy for anxiety, self-criticism, and some unhealthy emotional patterns. Over this time, my relationship with myself has significantly changed for the better.

The use of expressive arts techniques and her needs-based approach has been so beneficial for me. I'm deeply grateful for this journey.
