Our mission is to help you connect back with yourself through art. Whether you're feeling stuck in a rut, going through a hard time and would like gentle support, or simply want to find the joy in your life again, get in touch, and let us support you on this journey.
"Before a child talks they sing. Before they write they draw. As soon as they stand they dance. Art is fundamental to human expression."
Whether you come for 1:1 counselling support, or join us in one of our workshops, you'll see that the arts are at the very core of everything that we do.
Our 1:1 sessions are a mix of talk therapy and arts therapy. To experience art therapy in a group format, come for our Deep Dive sessions that are and explore how the creative process can help you uncover deep-seated aspects of yourself.
Alternatively, join one of our Creative Pause sessions to experience the joy that comes from immersing yourself in a state of creative flow—a space where time ceases to exist, and to-do lists fade away quietly. You’ll find yourself letting go, playing with the art supplies, and becoming really present.
As a certified Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner and Counsellor, I’m here to support your journey with expertise and empathy. My path to being a mental health practitioner was a scenic one — via a decade-long corporate IT career and art. Now, I'm committed to helping people discover their strengths and their innate capacity to heal and thrive.
At the tail-end of a good decade working in IT, art beckoned, and I spent 100 days consecutively making art, documenting little joys, and re-kindling a childhood love affair. Along the way, I fine-tuned my art skills to become an illustrator, used art as a way of self-care and began to facilitate workshops on Art journaling. I've designed and hosted sessions for companies like Google and UniLever.
Over the past decade, I’ve realized childhood dreams, including becoming a published author, and creating Slowing Down, an art journal for mindfulness. In the Covid times, I've also run Slowing Down Circle, a global online monthly gathering for art journalling.
Now, as a Certified Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner with a degree in Counselling Psychology, I’m excited to build Canvas of Calm—using art for play, presence, and healing.
